Halion One not working in Cubase 4

Hi,

I’m trying to use Halion One on Cubase 4. When I try to select a preset it comes up with a box saying “Halion One: Cannot find or load preset”. The presets are in the folder Cubase 4 > VST3 Presets > Steinberg Media Tecnologies > HALion One. They are all about 3KB. Is that how it should be? Any advice to get it working?

Thanks

If the content for your HALionONE is missing or broken, please follow these steps:

PC

  1. Insert your Cubase disc. Explore the disc and go to Cubase for Windows, Additional Content, Soundframe, HALionONE Soundbanks. Copy the HALionONE Soundbanks folder from your disc to your hard drive (we recommend putting it in the C:/Program Files/Common Files/Steinberg folder).

  2. Open Cubase, load HALionONE. Right click on HALionONE and choose “Locate Content.” Select the HALionONE Soundbanks folder that you copied to your hard drive. Now you should be able to load sounds into HALionONE.

MAC

  1. Insert your Cubase disc. Explore the disc and go to Cubase for Windows, Additional Content, Soundframe, HALionONE Soundbanks. Copy the HALionONE Soundbanks folder from your disc to your hard drive (we recommend putting it on your Macintosh HD).

  2. Open Cubase, load HALionONE. Control click on HALionONE and choose “Locate Content.” Select the HALionONE Soundbanks folder that you copied to your hard drive. Now you should be able to load sounds into HALionONE.
