Hi, I am currently converting all of my Cubase 5 projects to Cubase 13 (I know, 15+ years of using Cubase 5, finally decided to upgrade!) I’m happy to find most of the MIDI instruments from Cubase 5 are exactly the same with a few just being named slightly differently, the only thing is it does not keep my customised filter and amplifier settings for each track, and the parameter scales are different; where HALionOne used a linear scale for everything, HALion Sonic uses a bipolar scale, and I was wondering how I would calculate the exact same settings, as it’s apparent I can’t do it just based on a normal linear to bipolar calculation, I imagine certain algorithms are set in place, so is there a way to calculate this properly?
I need to know for both:
- Envolope shape based (Cutoff, Resonance, 0 - 100)
- and Time based (Attack, Release, 0 - 10s)
Your help will be much appreciated!
