Halion SONIC 2 windows 7 install warning

Sonic 2 seems to put all of its content on C drive even though the program was specified to use D: It places about 14 gbs in content under app data/roaming and about 7gbs in program data . As I use an SSD for C: having moved user etc and other large directories off it this means I now have almost no space left on C drive. Is there any way to move this data elsewhere. Otherwise don’t install Sonic 2 no matter where you ask it to be placed unless you have 21gbs free on boot drive.

If you have this problem just move the content directory to another drive in this case the D: drive and then create a symlink to the old location e.g
mklink /j C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\Content d:\ProgramData\Steinberg\Content. With 2 symlinks I now have the 21gbs back on the C drive.
