An year ago I happened to install Cakewalk Sonar on my Pc. For some reason, a few months later I noticed that I had a pre-installed HALion Sonic 7 among my other plugins, and therefore I naturally started using it because of the great variety of plugins imbued on it.
One day around July of this year, I decided to install the Steinberg applications in order to have access to other plugins. When I went to use Halion Sonic 7 again, however, it seemed as if the Steinberg Applications had imbued with it and detected a lack of “License” on it, resulting in a blockage of most of the plugins on it.
I tried searching on Youtube, Forums, and even ChatGPT in a desperate move, but nothing. I re-installed all Steinberg Applications and even HS7 itself a few times, and still nothing.
I looked at my emails to see if I received a license code, and instead they sent me a link to reinstall the Steinberg Download Assistant. When I did it, HS7 appeared on it, and I installed the “Halion Sonic 7.5.0 - Instruments” and the Version history download, but regardless every time I would access my Cakewalk Sonar, the plugins would be locked with a Red Key stamp, and the following message would appear in Download Assistant:
*“No Valid License Found. No valid licenses were found in your account for these product, and therefore they can’t be used.”*
If anybody could help me out solve this problem, I would be very thankful since I think this may be a problem that many also go through, and perhaps this post could also help them in the process.
