Running Cubase 14 Artist. Some of the sounds in HALion Sonic 7 work, but the HS2 Combis all have the dreaded red key. When I right click on one and try to load it, I get the message below that shows “No License Found”. I’m not sure what to do to activate them. Help! By the way, I have the same problem with the HS Factory sounds. The sounds…or patches are all downloaded on my computer. HALion Sonic 7 can see them, but I cannot use them. What’s the procedure here?
You need an elicenser licence for HALion Sonic versions prior to version 7.
HS2/3 were not free as HS7 is, nor were their associated libraries (which were nearly the same as the full versions’).
