HALion Sonic license issues for most content, but not all

I have run into some serious license problem with the content of HALion Sonic 7. It worked earlier but not anymore. I get red keys on the library sounds and popup windows that says “No License Found”

The thing is that it´s not happening for all content. Some still working, like Flux, HSO, Sonic Collection, Trip and Verve. But most other content have this license issue (since about 2 month I think).

And it is the the same issue with the content both in Cubase and as HALion Sonic standalone.

I have an activated license for HALion Sonic 7 since a couple of years back.

What I have tried so far is uninstalled HALion Sonic 3 and the eLicencer software that I used before. I have deactivated and reactivated the HALion Sonic 7 license in the Activation Manager. I have uninstalled and reinstalled HALion Sonic 7 and all content. All my Stenberg products and apps are updated to latest versions. Computer is restarted several times.

My setup is Win10 (uppdated) and Cubase 14 Pro.

Any clue how to solve this?

Did you re-install this? And still have the dongle plugged in?

HALion Sonic 7 is a FREE replacement for HS 3, but has no libraries of it’s own.
If you own Cubase, you can use the HALion Sonic Selection (not to be confused with the HALion Sonic Collection, which requires an extra cash outlay).

Okeeeyy… since everything worked before a assumed something else had happened. But now I´m not sure anymore. Maybe you´re right. I thought the content was connected to HS7 but maybe it belonged to HS3, which I have uninstalled…

I re-installed the eLicenser, HS3, HS3 Content and plugged in the dongle. And it´s working again.

I had the HS7 Collection library installed and assumed I was using it. But like you said, it requires a separatly paid license.

So I accually used the HS3 Content within HS7 all the time before. Didn´t realize that.

Ok, using eLicenser again I believe is somehow a temporary sollution, but problem solved for now and I understand what was wrong.
