HALion Sonic SE 3.1.0 update

It seems that the 3.1.0 update for HALion Sonic SE actually updates only the plugin but not the standalone application. Its splash screen still shows the 3.0.15 version.

Has anybody noticed this?

It’s showing the correct version (3.1.0) here. Try reinstalling.

Someone said the version history document was incorrect, anyone know what the actual changes are ?

Why does this update reinstall eLicenser Control Center software with an older version than what I already had installed? Lame for sure.

eLicenser Control Center version:
Before upgrade to HSSE 3.1.0: 6.10.6.2222
After upgrade to HSSE 3.1.0: 6.10.6.2221

Lastest available on Steinberg’s download area is now: 6.10.6.2223

The version of the eLicenser Control Center that is included in the HALion Sonic SE 3.1.0 update is “6.10.5.1209”. So it’s not very likely that HALion Sonic SE 3.1.0 is responsible for the downgrade to 6.10.6.2221.

I checked my eLicenser CC version a few seconds before downloading and installing the HSSE 3.1.0 update. It was 6.10.6.2222. Installed the update and it was 6.10.6.2221 until I downloaded v.2223. Weird for sure.

But, you say that v 6.10.5.1209 was included with the update installer. So that’s even worse. Why wouldn’t it include the latest version? Again… lame. Actually… lamer (if that’s a word).
