Halion Sonic SE 3.4.30 Installer -> no VST2

Hi all,
i just installed the Halion Sonic SE 3.4.30 via the Steinberg Download-Assistant.
The Feature-List states clearly, that it installs as VST2 … but there is no chance of choosing in the installation-routine and in the end, only the .vst3-Files are installed.
How can i add VST2 or change the installation to the vst2-Option ?

Windows or Mac? Can you check the standard folder (on Windows, this would be C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins\HALion Sonic SE, and you should see a file “HALion Sonic SE.dll”)?

Sorry, no : Folder ist empty, except for a subfolder named “Help” !

but searching for the file found it at:

c:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\Shared Components\HALion Sonic SE\

after adding this folder to “search” it now works ! Thanks for the hint !

I just installed the Halion SE and the file is in
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins\HALion Sonic SE
the filename is
HALion Sonic SE.dll

I found this information from the steinberg website.
