Halion Symphonic Orchestra licence

Hi.
I’m trying to finish off my transfer of licences over to Steinberg Licencing, but it seems that my old HSO is stuck with the eLicencer. Is that correct? After 20/05/2025, will it still work with my eLicencer plugged in? I can’t find any info about some of these old Halion instruments.

Halion Symphonic Orchestra (HSO) and Steinberg Licensing

Would someone explain to me if HSO supports the new licensing system or not? I haven’t received a voucher for it, but I read somewhere that some folks did receive it for HSO and successfully upgraded their HSO license. I contacted a local dealer in my country about this issue, but they say that these kinds of issues are handled by Steinberg themselves, and I don’t know a way to contact them directly. Can anyone else clarify this?

Hi neilhunter,
My copy of HSO was transferred last year to the new licencing system.
Simply contact Steinberg support and they will transfer it over for you and don’t forget to ask them to transfer any other purchases you may have!
