Halion to audio

I have a project and it has 6 Halion parts on different midi channel. Can they be recorded simultaneously on separate audio tracks as midi can with separate channels. I don’t see a selection for separate channel inputs. Do I have to do each individually?

You could, for example, assing each Halion part to a different audio output and then go File > Export > Audio mixdown.

I haven’t used Halion much. How do I set that up? I don’t see any routing selection on an input of an audio track with Halion as the input with channels, like I do midi inputs?

Activate the Outputs of HALion. Then match your MIDI tracks to the activated Outputs.

Also, please don’t conflate HALion and HALion Sonic, they are extremely different instruments.

Additionally to @Googly_Shakespeare 's method that works for rack instruments, generally you can activate any additional output for a plugin like this:

In the Cubase plugin header, click on the arrow down symbol to open the menu. Activate Outputs → …

Thanks for these insights. I will check back next time I get involved. this time I realized I could just render in place, and not have to play back the parts in real time.
