I just got the Steinberg newsletter which announced updates 6.1 for HALion and 3.1 for HALion SE.
Can I / should I download and install those updates?

Not unless you’re already using HALion Sonic SE 3, which you won’t be unless you chose to install it after having installed Dorico.
I have Halion Sonic 3.4 and is it’s content library automatically taken up by Halion Sonic SE3.5, of Dorico 4, extending the content of it’s own SE 3.5 libray? (I fear the mechanism of the player within Dorica remain a mystery for me … 
). Or is it not possible to make them co-exist? (As far a the content of Halion Sonic and Halion Sonic SE are different, but I’n ot sure of that …)
