I have just started using Pro Tools 10.
Every VST I used with Nuendo works fine in Pro Tools without doing anything.
The only exception is Halion. i can’t see this instrument I Pro Tools.
Any suggestions?
If you were using third-party plugins, many of them install both the VST versions (for Cubase et al) and the RTAS versions (if Pro Tools is installed), so the plugins would “automatically” show up in Pro Tools.
However, to the best of my knowledge, the plugins that ship with Cubase do not have an RTAS version, and would not show up in Pro Tools.
FXpansion (FXpansion - VST to RTAS Adapter v2) offers a “wrapper” that will allow many VST plugins to be used with Pro Tools, but I’m not sure about the current version compatibilities…
