Is there a way to change the timing of a selection of music so that all notes are changed to half their original values? I’ve transcribed a song, and I realized after the fact that I transcribed the verse in standard time and the chorus in cut time.
ie, what is 16 bars should really be 8…I’d love all barlines and chord symbols to follow this change too if possible.

Hi Geoff, I see no one has replied yet. In case it is urgent and you need to get on to it:
4/4 to cut
Select section of score
Write menu > Edit Duration
with Insert mode on
As you see it does not do all you have asked, barlines, did not try chords. Not sure this is helpful though! Someone else hopefully will have a better solution.
Changing to 2/4 would change barlines I suppose.
Thanks arco - that’s helpful, and the notes are the bulk of the work anyway. Quicker to add new chord symbols than renotate everything!
