iam making midi tracks manually using a bass sound from halion sonic se. i can program the notes in easy enuff but i cant use any effects such as hammer ons or pull off . surely this is possible but i cant find any information on this topic any help would be great
My advice is, by mimicking the sound. Another example of mimicking, to follow rules of music streaming services of keeping volume within a range, we give allusion of loudness by changing the eq setting during that moment. So in our hammer on and pull away mimicking, we change the eq and overlay/blend two other instruments, one for hammer on, another for pull away.
