Obviously not on top of priority, but it would be useful to have a simple pencil tool to draw over the score, either for corrections (schoolwork) or taking notes.
A function that would be kept completely out of any musical meaning.
I’d see it as a plain and simple overlay.
iPad, Apple Pencil, and GoodNotes. Works like a charm.
Anything that tries to draw with a mouse ends up pretty subpar, I think.
Since Microsoft Surface can run Dorico, that’ll be great to avoid transfer/file conversion etc…and all that pingpong game.
