The problem I have is that the end handle appears to be in the next measure, and for some reason the level is getting lifted to its previous value before the note has finished sounding, resulting in an apparent ghost note. I’m trying to shift the location of the hairpin’s endpoint, but it won’t budge. Any clues?
Update: I removed a slur joining the note to the previous, and that fixed it for some reason. (Connected to the legato patches in VSL that seem to cause me endless trouble.)
