I know, i know, its not in Dorico’s nature to aim for Handwriting Recognition, however, seeing some “pretty light weight” software as Staffpad do it, out of pure curiosity i wonder, have the team considered HWR for Dorico’s distant future? is it even on their Scope?
I would guess no. Thank goodness. Use a program that does that and export xml.
You can use some third party software (I own Photoscore) and make it output XML files that you can use in Dorico. I’d rather have our developers work on Dorico’s magic instead of wasting time on these areas… Anyway, Daniel has already talked about that in different places (I wonder if he talked about it on Clarineat, last december…), this was clearly not a top priority!
