Handy feature is gone

Why did Steinberg get rid of this handy feature!? It was so cool in C9.5… and now it’s gone(

In C9.5 you can simply drag and drop sample from right zone to anywhere at work space and the sample position is not glued to the locator position. Now in C10 Instead of this you have to drag the sample from right zone to track list and the sample position is glued to the locator position

And now in C10 - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1SLsLzM2KrEOPLk4rvV819-7DsC8BGo4o

I don’t understand what’s the point of getting rid of something good that was in previous version

bring it back! please!

it works exactly as you want when I try it in Cubase pro 10. I’m on Mac. I don’t understand why it would be different for us, unless it’s a Mac / Windows thing.

Works fine on my end. The way I drag it is just anywhere on an either existing audio track or bellow the existing tracks if I want Cubase to make a new channel for the sample. It goes right where I want it to.
