I’ve been having this issue for quite some time, and it’s incredibly frustrating. When trying to render an instrument track in place, Cubase will hang about 50% of the time. it’s literally pot luck. Small 4 second part, or long sections, doesn’t make a difference.
Ctrl-Alt-Tabbbing shows that Cubase is not ‘Not Responding’ yet I’m locked out of doing anything as the render progress bar just freezes. Now this NEVER happens if I choose Render Settings first, and then render in place. Even if I’m not actually adjusting any of the settings. Adjusting settings itself does not make any difference. This happens across projects
