High quality music! Few can write like this these days. I’m hearing plenty of Johann Strauss and touches of Mendelssohn I think?
@Pete_the_Musician Thank you for listening and reacting. I understand that you think at Strauss, and Mendelssohn is also mentioned often. But for myself, music comes up in my mind and I write it down without taken a composer as an example. And I take care for the rules of harmony, because in my ears that gives the most rich sound.
the central section reminds me of anything a bit more of Prokofiev, though the harmony remains more solidly 19th century. All in all, quite fun, though.
