Hard BUG - MIDI - Edit Active parts only (Not working at all)

Edit Active parts only is not working:

Reference:

In MIDI editor I have enabled the tab/button called: Edit Active parts only , But I still can edit all the notes of the selected MIDI tracks inside the window editor, even with the button enabled…


how to reproduce:

  • Selec different MIDI tracks of some project
  • Enable (Edit Active parts only) button
  • Play with the notes inside the window


    Cubase version 9.5.30, windows 10 x64

Hi,

Edit Active parts enabled doesn’t mean that you cannot edit all parts. It means that only the notes/controllers (events) of the active part are selected once you select multiple events across multiple MIDI parts.
