Considering replacing a drive (a caviar green)

Considering Seagate barracuda 1tb OR Western Digital Caviar Black 1tb

Same speed 7200 rpm cache 32mb for seagate not quoted for wd - seagate around £20 cheaper

anyone out there can offer advice on the best to go for I can only see a difference in price thus far

Majority of my HD’s are Seagate, haven’t had a problem with them, plus I liked the 5yr warranty.

I have Seagates 7200 rpm, all’s good. You might try Newegg to see if you can find the cache for the one you’re looking at.
