I’m looking for hardware that can drive Groove Agent, but I’ve found very few devices, and those few only drive the pads by mapping them with the Akai app, which is a lot of work and doesn’t allow me to drive the knobs for each pad 100%. All controller brands offer 100% compatibility with Ableton and Fruiti Loops, but none with Steinberg. It’s like having a Ferrari without being able to drive it. Cubase is the world’s #1 DAW in terms of quality and power, but it doesn’t even have a dedicated DAW controller. DAW controllers from other brands offer limited compatibility, such as the Presonus Faderport that I use, which is fantastic hardware in terms of quality but has few functions dedicated to Cubase.
