Attached an example with harmonic symbols, bar 2 with a slur. Shifting the slur will result in bar 3. What is the simplest way to reposition the harmonics nearer to the note heads as in bar 1?
There’s no particularly quick way to do this: you will have to swap their positions manually, as you’ve presumably found.
