When I load the HarmoniQ plugin, it causes my Cubase to freeze, but it still runs because I can see it in the task manager and it is not unresponsive, just unable to click any buttons.
Afterwards, I contacted HoRNet, the company that made this plugin, and they did not find any similar situations as mine. I asked
I couldn’t change this result by reinstalling the system or reinstalling Cubase. Until now, when I loaded this plugin with Luna, I found that the plugin had no faults and could run in Luna. I confirmed that this was a bug.
I am very certain that my Cubase is the latest version and my computer is Windows. Additionally, please find attached my plugin file HoRNetHarmoniQ_x64.zip (971.6 KB)
@1664405715, exactly as you described. Cubase freezes (had to kill it), but the PC can be operated normally. Red frame around the insert slot, then nothing more. (CB13.0.41, W10)
In WaveLab 12, it opens up, but with a blank GUI.
In SpectraLayers 11 it works flawlessly. SAVIHost crashes immediately.
In Acoustica 7 it opens with GUI, but gets stuck during analysis.
So it really seems to depend on the VST host, which doesn’t cast a good light on the implementation by the VST manufacturer.
