Harp Bracket = Non Arp

I’ve been using a vertical bracket I made in the Lines editors to indicate non arp. chords, but it doesn’t play back like that automatically of course since a Line is not a Playing Technique. But I don’t know if there is a way of having an adjustable line as a Playing Technique, or if there is an instruction somewhere in Dorico that would have it perform the chord non arp, though I would assume there is.

Is there a solution for this?

Did you try using the non arp under Ornaments? Don’t know about playback, though.

Yes, and I still get a roll. I also prefer longer jogs on my brackets and there doesn’t seem to be a way of editing the ornaments, so for example I had to make own arpeggio lines in the regular Lines editor.

You can also enter these using the ornaments popover shift-o arp and shift-o nonarp

(I don’t get a roll with the nonarp. Perhaps it depends on which VST you are using?)
