Dorico being the stellar software it is, after having used it for some time one is easily led to nitpicking. Which I’ll happily admit is the nature of this post – so here goes.
Some “editorial” choices are surprising, to say the least. Such as the following: how on earth is the harp classified as “pitched percussion”? I’ll be the last to deny the percussive abilities of the harp, but it should be considered a string instrument first and foremost. Or even, in its orchestral use, as part of the “keyboards”. Anyway – this classification means that it will appear just below the timpani, before any other percussion instruments, which is against standard practice where the harp(s) would appear just before the strings. Of course, it’s easy to amend, but it could also be, in an ideal world, right from the start. 
On a different note, did I mention how much I’m enjoying the Dorico learning process so far, if only because so many things “just” work? To the team, many thanks, and keep up the good work!
