Harp harmonics playback

I have, I think, read all the old topics on this point, but the most recent I have seen is from late 2022, so I am wondering (hoping) that there is new information on this point since then:

What is considered the best way to create a harmonic for harp (using the circle symbol) that will play back an octave higher, ideally with a harmonic timbre? I see several ways of working around this problem in those older topics, but has an optimum way of handling it been designated? (The manual, as far as I can see, has nothing to say on this matter.) A step-by-step description for dummies of how to achieve this (using NotePerformer) would be wonderful.

If you apply a natural harmonic to the note, in the Properties Panel, the playback should work in Note Performer.

I can apply the harmonic symbol using the Properties Panel, but it continues to sound the written pitch.

That’s strange. I just tried and it works on my end. Can you confirm that you have something like this in play mode, especially NotePerformer expression map? (Select the harp, and Track Inspector)

Yes. And I now see that it plays back as desired when I request a playback of the score using P or SPACE. But when I click on a note to hear it, it makes a different sound, the written pitch; so that was throwing me off. But I understand now, and I thank you.
