I guess this is a bit far-fetched but I decided to ask anyway:
Is it possible to have a QuickTime video to follow the selected note in Dorico 6.1?

Do you mean, attach a video to a note on the score, instead of a timestamp? In Write mode you can click on a note and see a timestamp (first you must click on the bar count on the upper right to change it from bars to timecode).
Then in Setup mode you can attach a video by alt-clicking the flow in the bottom panel, and put the video at that timestamp.
It’s not quite as simple as clicking on a note but it works well. I hope this helps!
Thank you.
Actually, I mean that if I select a note, the video would follow to that exact point in the video timeline.
Does selecting a note and pressing alt/opt+p work?

Yes it does. Thank you.
But I was wondering if this could be a setting in the preferences to have the QuickTime follow every time I select a note?
Don’t think so.
