Have all the problems dawbench is reporting with systems above 14 logical cores been fixed? He has done some very detailed explanation of them (when asio guard is off mainly).
Edit, i just read that 10.5 has not fixed this sadly… Oh well…
It means high core count is a no no if I want to move to windows… i returned the macbook in my sig cause the 16" came out and I was considering windows as I had a good time in bootcamp…It feels so much snappier than OSX…
If i went windows though it seems I would have to keep asio guard ON at all times or work with no more than 12 logical cores…
Steinberg… I know you don’t think it’s an issue, that everyone should just use asio guard, but please fix this…
Also, has the automaton timing finally been fixed in Cubase 10.x?
