I am not sure that this post could be classified as a feature request, parse but as Steinberg have been very diligently improving the User Interface, by adding more options and information, I am wondering now, since once settings for a Track are complete (relatively speaking), I mostly use the leftmost pane for the Fader but when I am navigating the Track List to one of the aforementioned tracks, e.g., Tempo, Signature or Markers, I have to show the left pane, which previously was the only pane available on that side.
Could it be that one day, all information related to those tracks previously mentioned, could be shown in the leftmost pane, instead of the left pane proper?
It is such a great thing to see these constant overhauls occurring with each version upgrade but how users access information must change as well in my view, so for example, if automation node details are to be shown on the left, then why would you have that in a pane that is thicker by default?
Would it not make more sense to have listed data, e.g., in the smaller, leftmost pane so that it could be expanded to show more information, i.e., by exposing additional columns?
Saying that, please keep up the quick turnarounds Steinberg, I for one become fonder of the application the more I use it, and with the stability improvements that come with each version maturing, I can’t wait to see what else is in store for Steinberg DAWs.
