I think is a good idea although I can’t imagine how it will be helpful while composing…

+1 I’m all for options. And an option to dock these windows and/or a “Always on top” option is good.

Pool yes. What about plugins browser on the right (mediabay place)?

The Pool is highly usable window, especially in combine with the Project area,
and like the MediaBay, it should be docked.
