I know some basic about recording I want to record an acoustic guitar so I created two channels stereo one left one right the guitar sound good wide
and then I sent them to a group folder,I want to know where can I put the compressor do I have to create a fx track like same I did for reverb delay or it must be an insert , sorry for this stupid question I am new to this

You could add compression either way.
If you add as an insert for each guitar track, and your compressor plugin doesn’t have a mix control, the compression will be applied to the entire track.
If you create an FX track for the compressor, you will be better able to adjust the blend of compressed guitar to uncompressed guitar, a technique sometimes called parallel compression.
