Hello Coders! date 4.8.25

I have touched base with John Barron and he helped a little.

I have Dorico SE5 Elements As one would start out with the basic program.
Songs I have recorded \ written on basic Dorico have a touch of echo\ reverb. But Dorico Elements has me singing in a Very large cathedral of cave.

John explained that you have this set up as I were on a stage ok.
The problem is, that I cannot decrease the reverb.
I have tried turning off Far and near sends turned down the percentage gone to the mixer and decreased the reverb to infinity and yet tones of R EEEvERRRb.

This is so prevalent that I can not hear the vocal playback clearly.
One friend in Europe said I’m not into Gregorian chants!

I am uploading a couple examples to show the problem.

Hey Scott
Thanks for getting back to me.
I tried the settings you suggested and made a new recording. I turned down reverb room size and Reverb width and reverb pre delay with no difference in reverb.
I also checked the EQ on the writing page and turned the reverb off no change.

I"m hoping to get an almost Dry effects mix. I come from a recording engineering background and this is is what I’m looking for.
I like going from Infinity to robust.
Since I have made a new recording and the echo still is there. Is there something on the recording side of the notation that I am not see.
Thanks Scott for your help.
