Ok ok, thank you so much!!
I tested my device on Windows PC, Cubase 5 and it was working flawlessly.
Cannot wait to try it on Cubase 12 Pro on my mac Mojave
Still cannot believe that 3rd party driver was the cause of the random errorā¦
(Very strange it was, even I turn the knob, MIDI remote editor on Cubase Pro 12 demo could not recognize so thenā¦ (a few months ago) I kind of gave upā¦)
But now I have extra light daw controller!
Ok, I will uninstall the driver.
You can try this (attached):
Frontier_AlphaTrack_V0.0.0.midiremote (4.0 KB)
You may need to set the MIDI inputs/outputs to suit your environment.
That should get you started, please let others know how you get on!
Thank you
I have not yet tried it on Cubase 12 pro,
but on Cubase 11 pro, you were
absolutely right! By quitting the driver app,
The Alphatrack becomes native,
even though I see no reading,
I see midi monitoring is responding!
Cannot wait to map it on Cubase 12 Pro!
Cheers!
MrSoundman!! It works nicely your template works good too!
Just one question, I set 3 knobs to be QC1, QC2 and QC3 accordingly,
but values jumps from far left and about 10oāclock and I cannot rotate to have finer valueā¦?
Perhaps this is Alphatrack endās issueā¦?
Cheers! I at least have one light fader that I can write automate easily oh! and transports!
Found a way to fix it!!
This is just crazy!!
Any midi controller becomes CC121 just like that! wowā¦
I am so blown away by this feature andā¦ so glad I am a Cubase userā¦ thanks!
QC on several pages are good! but I find it easier to do hybrid like,
with mouse (AI knob function) then tweak with one knob
Too good to be true! thanks, MrSoundman
