Help - advice needed for Getting good drum set sound results

Hello there,

I have recorded a drum set in LE5 in 8 tracks (BD, Snare, 3 Toms, 3 Over Heads).
I have sound sources which I am pleased with for the moment.
I would like to get some advice about the possible ways I can improve my final result through LE5. That means:
How to do things (if needed) with the software such as Gating, EQing, Effects, Audio process and such…

I am pretty new to Cubase and don’t have a clue about how to improve the “natural” results that I already have.

Any advice, thoughts, tips will be welcomed and greatly appreciated.

anyone?

Gidi: Are you talking about Midi or Audio Drum Tracks.
I Presume all the individual Drums exist on there own tracks
When it comes to EQ, Gating etc. have you clicked on the “E” Button
on each individual channel strip for EQ’S etc.

Gidi: What type of computer are you using PC, Mac, Laptop
What is your operating system Windows–Mac etc.

PS: Not sure if this helps ya with Cubase LE5
but newer versions of Cubase 5-6-7 etc. IMO all have
great presets for instruments like Drums. Great for
Learning what your asking

Hi Jack,
Thanks for your responase.

Are you talking about Midi or Audio Drum Tracks. > >

I am talking about Audio tracks and I do have them on separate tracks for each, 8 tracks in total:

BD x 1
Snare x 1
Tom x 3
Over Head x2
Room/Ambiance Condenser.

I know about the Edit button. What I am looking for is for advice/Tips on how to use the different LE 5 tools at hand.
If not specific instructions, then a reference to a source of good information.

I have added the some details about my equipment in the signature section.

Thanks Again.
