Help! Can´t quantize to grid

Hi!

I can´t seem to quantize midi to grid. It quantizes to beat instead.

  1. I open a midi editor
  2. I set quantize grid to 1/32 sw-40 (swing 40%)
  3. I press quantize and midi note that was near a vertical grid line is shifted to beat instead.

Most be something simple I am missing?

Hi,

Most probably the rule is not set to Bars+Beats. Probably to Seconds or Timecode instead. Double-check this, please.

Btw, you also set Swing to 40%, this could be also it.
