Ok so Ive upgraded from Cubase 4 recently and I also went from Win XP to Win 7 64bit. Just finished a little project recorded in 44,1khz, 16bit. When I listen to the files in Windows it sound ok but when I burn the songs to CD or put them on a USBmemory its all pitched down? I also noticed that all of my old MP3s and wave files on the computer is pitched up? My sound card is a Echo Layla 3G connected to a Adat interface, Alesis AI3. Any ideas how to fix this?
Check your sound card and set it to 44.1 kHz. Sounds like it’s at 48 now.
Ya, sounds like it could be it being played back at the wrong SR rather than a problem on export.
