I just purchased Cubase 8.5 yesterday, and I tried to register by elicenser Control center.
I entered the activation code, and software start downloading license, but the screen just freezed for a long time.
How Can I do ? 
Have you update elicenser to latest version?
That’s already the latest version, it looks like you’re downloading it extremely slowly.
