Getting Chinese and other characters in English GUI after Intel driver update 20.2.6.1025 Successfully installed on 2026-06-11. Was working fine beforehand. Saw a thread where they renamed “DoricoIcons-Regular.ttf” but that specific file name doesn’t exist in Dorico 6. So I turned to Download Assistant and clicked ‘Install again’ on Dorico 6.2.30 but the characters are still there (see screenshot attached) after re-install. Any suggestions?
I just tried a more thorough way : Windows → Settings → Apps → Installed Apps → uninstall Dorico and then again ran Download Assistant to re-install Dorico. This time, it worked: the correct fonts are back.
P.S. any idea why this glitch is frequent?
