Hi all, any advice on how to enter chords such as this? Newbie here hitting the steep learning curve :-()

Welcome to the forum @Peter_Bransche!
Head to Engraving Options > Chord Symbols to check out all the chord customisations available.
Then, enter Bbmaj7 into the Chord Symbol popover where you want it.
Just learned from another post that it can be entered with Bb^
But you still need to check the Engraving options I think.

Instead of typing ‘resolved’, you can mark the correct answer as the solution. The list of threads will then show a checkmark before the title.

Dear Peter, I think you should put the check mark under Daniel’s post #2, as that was the answer you were looking for, rather than Pjotr’s post.
And I know hardly anything about chord symbols!

Yes, I know your problem is solved. I’m just talking about the (confusing) Solution checkbox. As of now, below your first post appears Pjotr’s suggestion (about the checkbox!) because that’s what you marked. And I was suggesting you can change it to check post #2, which will not only show that below the OP, but also give Daniel the proper credit on his account for the solution. Sorry to belabor the point, but newbies on the forum very often have difficulty understanding this feature.

Weirdly, I had a notification come up saying it had been marked solved but I’m not sure why.
