Using Cubase 7.5.2 full edition (win 64 bit, windows 8.1), decent spec computer. Been working fine for ages but today trying to export a mixdown to MP3 I get this error;
eLicencer Control - Error
Application “MP3 Codec” has caused the following error:
DCOM connection to program “Synsopos.exe” failed. Error: The RPC server is unavailable.
If I click OK, then a screen comes up saying “No more Encodings” and offers me the option to go to the online shop.
Now a long time ago I did have a lower version of Cubase and needed the MP3 plugin, which I bought. But will full Cubase, I expect all of that is included.
I exported a file to MP3 earlier today with no problem. I have rebooted the machine and made sure I have all latest updates installed.
Any ideas?
