Wow what has happened? I tried to reset to factory settings. That did not help.
I am at a loss here.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Rest assured the fix is likely easy. But you need to provide more info. It would be ideal if you could post the file here.
Just guessing, your Space Size in Layout Options > Page Setup is too large.
Or maybe your Casting Off is set with too many systems in a frame.
Or there’s a frame break with Wait for Next set.
We’re heading down a slippery slope.
Which is why posting the actual file (as Dan suggested) would lead to the surest. quickest solution.
Thanks, Derek!
That is what I have now done.

Yes and a rabbit hole all at once!

It looks ok here. (not scrambled

Not related to the question but you can save a lot of space if you show the staff labels only in the first system and reduce the page margins to 10 mm (0.4 in) top and bottom and 12.7 mm (0.5 in) left and right. And for a piano score Size 4 is big enough.
Hi Dan
I found reset layout and now it is OK.
You were right, it was an easy fix, but how I got to this problem I am not sure.
Thanks for your help!
Ken
OK thanks all for the suggestions!
I found a reset layout in engraving and it looks much better!
I am still somewhat new at D6. Now if only I can remember what I did at the next slippery slope.
Best
