help!!!!! installing new vst

hi all, I’m quite new to cubase, and use cubase elements 7. i used to use elements 6 on my pc, but have recently got a macbook pro, and purchased elements 7 on it which works great. The issue i have is that i downloaded a synth that looked like it could be useful , and would like to know how i get it to appear in cubase so i can use it in ,
