There are two icons that don’t appear to do anything except to tell you what they’re hiding below them when you hover on them! I refer to a conjoined microphone (presumably talkback) icon and a loop icon. They are usually visible in the bottom right corner of the screen blocking the view of the main output activity indicator and the set up transport zone button. When I’m trying to use the split tool for example they appear and block the view of the track position indicator.
I’m sure they must serve some purpose but for me they are unwanted and unwelcome.
Would some kind person please let me know how to get rid of them as they are really getting on my nerves!
