Help, please. No more sound

In the project I’m currently working on, suddenly I can no longer hear any sound.
All other older projects are still working fine.
The mixer in Noteperformer shows activity, but I hear no sound.
Is there any way to reset things?
Thank you very much in advance.

Have you tried resetting the Playback template? Even if it has NP selected, you can select it and load it again.

What is your sample rate set to? Edit–Preferences.

I’ve tried to change the Playback template to HSSE and then again to NP. Nothing.
Tried at 44100 and 48000. The other projects are working alright.
This particular project was working until one other ago.

Sorry, I meant “one hour ago”

Could you share it here as a zip file and allow another user to try opening it?

If it’s confidential, you could send it to the team via email.

Yes, please send it to ‘u dot stoermer at steinberg dot de’.

Thank you all. I’m sending the project.

Easy. Somehow you’ve “soloed” the Metronome, therefore all other instruments are muted.
To fix, open the Dorico mixer window and toggle the Solo button of Dorico Beep.

Hi Ulf and everyone else!

What is the keystroke that solos the Metronome? I’ve done this myself a few times in the last 6 months and I don’t know how it happens.

David

Alt-S is the default shortcut for Play / Solo Selected Instruments. (Easy to find in Preferences - search for “solo”)

Presumably you did that when only the metronome was selected.

Thank you very much, indeed.
I work a lot with shortcuts to speed up work. I’ve obviously inadvertently clicked the wrong key.
Steinberg support is fantastic.
