I’m running Cubase VST with Windows 7. The interface is a Tascam US 224. The unit powers up with USB, but I can’t get the control panel (i.r. play, record, etc) to work. Thinking it might be a software issue as Cubase is not communicating with the Tascam. Any help would be appreciated.

Devices / Device Setup / VST Audio System. Is your interface selected as ASIO Driver?
The newest US-244 driver is for Windows XP. Good chance Windows 7 can’t communicate with it. Does Windows Device Manager see it as working correctly?
