Hi bluequigley,
Just a quick question, have you set the ROUTING to receive audio from your interface:
Tap on the small blue speaker icon to turn it off during Playback, you have it enabled when recording so that you can hear what you are recording
also disable the Solo tab, that is only needed if you don’t want to hear other tracks, in your situation there is only one track at the moment.
Mike
I tried that but still no playback??
Ok, are you trying to listen to the recording through your iPad speakers? If you are it probably won’t work because your interface is taking priority of input/output. Try connecting your headphones to your interface or just disconnect the interface.
BTW, I notice your recording is Mono, try changing the Stereo to Mono in ROUTING, this will save you a lot of memory, or you can simply double tap on the recording and select MONO on the bottom right of screen.
Hi @bluequigley,
to help you get started with Cubasis quickly, please take a look at our “Getting Started with Cubasis” tutorial. It walks you through all the steps needed to record a full track from scratch.
To review the correct settings for connecting your external audio device, please check the Recording chapter of the tutorial, which I’ve linked below.
Best,
Lars
