Help Registering My MR816

Hi,

I’m having troubles registering my MR816csx on the Steinberg site. I keep getting the following message when I enter “MR816csx” and my “serial number” as per the sticker on the unit and box:

“Either you haven't selected a product or the serial number you have entered does not match the selected product.”

I’ve tried contacting my local “support” contact (Yamaha Music Australia) but have received no reply. They do not have a telephone contact.

Why won’t the registration of my hardware work?

Registration page says “Serial is case sensitive”

Do you get the serial from the stickres on the box, or just from the backside of the device?

the serial number is on the top of the device, where also the power cable is connected.
