I have no idea what I’ve done, but the result is that, this passage, in Write mode:
Becomes this, in Engrave mode (and in Print mode):
Can anyone give me a clue how to fix? I tried a lot of things. If I insert a bar before the problem bar, then the problem goes away. But deleting that extraneous bar returns the problem. I’ve removed the tempo equation. No help. I’ve even cut all the bars after the 2/4 and re-pasted them. No change.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We need more info than a screenshot. Can you post the offending portion of the project?

It would help if you posted the project or the relevant part of the project to allow us to dig. My first guess would be to look at the properties of the first note(s) and see if there’s any offset set or anything else out of whack.

Thank you! In doing that, I have narrowed it down to Condensing, meaning when you switch off Condensing, all is well. See attached.

At letter A, you’ve got staff-local key changes. Delete all of them, and then put in one global F major key change.

That works! Thank you. But only if I first turn off condensing, then do the key change work, then switch it back on. I don’t think I would have ever have thought of that.
You can also delete the key siga in Galley view without turning off condensing.
